- Open Flash. Create a new project in an appropriate size for your Movie (generally 320 x 240 pixels or 320 x 270 pixels if your control will be under your 320 x 240 px sideshow)
- Save the Flash in a NEW folder on your H drive. (Name the folder something logical for the project.
- Use the Defaults and click next as required. You may choose a different Control Skin.
- Use the File Menu to import your video. This will take a couple of minutes.
- Save and use the File Menu to Publish.
- After you Publish open the folder you created for this Flash. There should be 2 SWF files and a Web Page. Open the Web page and view your sideshow If you can see the controller, hear the audio, and the sideshow works you are done. If you need to make size adjustments, open the Flash again and adjust the size as needed until the Control is completely visible.
