Math and Science Technology Night
Students taught their parents how to access math and science textbooks online during the Math and Science Technology Night. Math and science teachers demonstrated the sites during a meeting in the auditorium and then the students showed their parents how to get into the textbook sites. Parents were pleased that their children could get to their homework even if they forgot to bring their textbook home. Sorry kids, no more excuse, "I forgot my book at school."
In addition to the online textbook, there are supplemental materials, movies, and extra practice. The tutorials and videos help students remember what was taught in class and help them to complete homework assignments. Parents and students were enthusiastic about the new online materials. One parent hoped that the language arts and social studies texts will soon be online as well.
To reach your student's textbook you will need his user name and password. Math and science teachers provided each student with the required username and password for each text. If your child has lost this information, contact the teacher for another copy.
