Student Honors
Students with a 3.5 GPA or higher recieve an honor roll award. Honor Roll celebrations will be in October, January, and March near the time when report cards are issued. The exact dates will be announced prior to the celebration.
In the 2006-2007 school year honor roll recipients had pancake breakfasts and an awards ceremony at the end of the marking periods. In October 2007, Southwestern College parnered with Dean Ray Stucky and announced a new initiative where Stucky students who are accepted at Southwestern College will receive a $25,000 scholarship over a four year period. Students were encouraged to continue their academic excellence, and plan to attend college after completing high school.
