Stucky Middle School Hosts International Visitors

Chinese educators chose Stucky Middle School to observe educational practices at the middle school level on a recent tour of the United States. Stucky was the only middle school these secondary educators visited. Our principal, Mr. Davis, took them on a tour of our school, where they were able to observe classes in action and speak with our students. They were especially interested in our math, science, and technology classrooms. The visit was sponsored by the Friendship Force of Kansas, a group that promotes international understanding through visits that encourage people-to-people diplomacy. The secondary educators from various regions of China wanted to see what our school was like, how our classes are conducted, and how our students learn throughout the school day. The Chinese teachers also visited Los Angeles and New York City.
