8th Grade Celebration Dinner
Dear 8th Grade Parents,
The staff here at Dean Ray Stucky Middle School, would like to cordially invite all 8th grade students and their parents (no siblings) to the 8th Grade Celebration Awards Dinner. It will be May 18, 2012 at the Wichita Marriott, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
All students wishing to attend will receive a ticket at no cost. Tickets for parents and/or legal guardian will be on sale for $23.00 each. Tickets will go on sale May 1st. Deadline for reservation will be May 14th. This will be semi-formal attire, no jeans please. There will be a formal sit down dinner. Menu includes:
Chicken Bechamel
(seared breast of chicken with béchamel sauce)
Caesar Salad with Grated Parmesan Cheese
Green Beans Almondine and Broccoli Florettes
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Rolls
Chocolate Chunk Brownie Supreme
Tea and Water
There will be a dance for the 8th grade students following the awards banquet. The dance will start at 8:30. Tickets are sold separately through the 8th grade team leader. The tickets for the dance are $10.00 per student. We look forward to sharing this wonderful event with all 8th graders and their parents.
